Policies

• Pets: Pets are strictly forbidden. We are sorry but there are no exceptions to this as owner has allergies.
• No Smoking: Absolutely no smoking is permitted in the house.
• General: Maximum occupancy is 14 people, including children. Parking is available for four vehicles.
• Payments: A 50% deposit is required to secure a rental period. We accept a personal check or cashiers check for payment. The balance of the rental fee, plus a $2,000 security deposit is due 60 days prior to the rental period. Your security deposit is returned within two weeks following the rental period, assuming the property is left as you found it. For reservations made within 60 days of the rental period, full payment is required to secure the rental period.
• Rental Agreement: A signed rental agreement must be returned along with your 50% deposit in order to reserve your rental period. Following receipt of the balance due and security deposit, we will send you a final confirmation letter with directions to the house.
• Cancellations: In the event of a cancellation, you forfeit any money that has been submitted towards the rental, excluding the refundable security deposit. If we are able to re-rent the house during a cancellation period we will return all deposits with the exception of a $100 cancellation fee. We strongly encourage you to obtain travel insurance in the event you need to cancel your reservation. We use travel insurance ourselves when we go on vacation. • Incidentals:Blankets, quilts, and pillows are provided. Linens and towels are not included; you'll need to bring: 2 sets king, 3 sets queen, 2 sets twin, 1 set full/double. Kitchen cooking necessities are supplied: pots and pans, dishes, dinnerware, glasses, mugs, bowls, toaster, and blender. Trash bags and toilet tissue are also provided.
• Snowmobiles, ATV's, Dirt Bikes and Personal Water Craft: These motorized vehicles not allowed and include, but not limited to: jet skis, wave runners, ATV's, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, etc.
• Boats: We supply a canoe and two kayaks for your use.
