I can't say enough about the property ... specifically how well the house lends itself to having multiple people and not feeling likeyou are on top of each other. It has also been a pleasure to cook fine meals and watch others enjoy the fruits of my labor. The bowling ally is a total scream, competition at the pool table fierce but friendly, and it is always a good thing to try to wean ourselves from the TV although we did miss the weather channel. ********THANKS SO MUCH for the use of your "perfect" home for my brother's 60th birthday celebration this past weekend. It ended up being only 7 of us, but it was fabulous from beginning to end. My brother really enjoyed it - it was very special. The weather was great, the loons welcoming, and even today's rain was a welcome relief from the heat. All went well, and we sincerely appreciated all the amenities in your lovely home. Thanks for telling me about the Lovell Country Store for lobsters. They even cooked them for us! Superb.
My brother in law may be contacting you as he thought it would be an ideal location to bring two other buddies with him to go fishing. He saw Big Al and Big Sal off the shared dock, and we all thought he was going to have heart attack! He's never seen such big fish in a lake before! (He compared it to Walter, who lives here On Golden Pond!) Thanks again for a relaxing, comfortable stay. I'll certainly recommend your home to anyone who is coming to Maine and wants rest and relaxation for a week.

I was a bit concerned renting through internet and not being able to see the inside of the house before the vacation week but it was absolutely perfect and more beautiful than I had anticipated. I feel that your pictures on internet did not do justice to how nice the inside of the house was. [Note from owner: we just updated our photos thanks to this comment!]
Thought you might be interested, that our family has had 6 reunions such as this over the past 10 years and we go different places each year in Virginia, Upstate New York and this was the first time in Maine. This house and the location was by far the most perfect set up for all the relatives to reunite as well as have privacy when needed. We were amazed with how well stocked the house was with utensils, flashlights, use of cupboards and refrigerators, etc. If you ever need a reference for others interested in renting your house, please feel free to give them my name and email. ********We all had a wonderful time staying at your lakehouse. It was natural to take good care of it because we all felt so at home there. Kezar Lake has such incredible natural beauty and tranquility. Last week was so quiet there that we felt at times we had the whole lake to ourselves. I know it is too early to plan these things, but my parents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary next summer and my siblings and I thought another week at your lakehouse would be a great way to celebrate. ********Your home was absolutely lovely - the location is paradise! We had a wonderful time, the kids thoroughly enjoyed the lake. The kids also loved the Rec Hall and found the local chipmunks very entertaining. We enjoyed several shopping excursions to Bridgton and North Conway. We'll definitely keep you in mind for the future - we've been alternating locations - think next year will be somewhere along the coast. I've also been showing my pictures around and forwarding your website to friends.
